Glendale Tech on (Coffee) Tap: Hear about the Glendale Tech Strategy- And How You Fit In
GLENDALE, CA – Join us for Glendale Tech on (Coffee) Tap to learn about the Glendale Tech Strategy, and how local firms, start-ups and talent can tap into the area’s ecosystem of technology and innovation.
Darlene Sanchez, Deputy Director of Community Development, will present the Glendale Tech Study, which was completed in January 2017. In the study, which was performed by Estolano LeSar Perez Advisors, it was revealed that there are 1,029 tech firms in Glendale that employ nearly 41,100 people. It was also discovered that more than 32 percent of Glendale residents have degrees in Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering. As the Los Angeles region continues to solidify its place in the world of technology, innovation and start-ups, this study examines how Glendale compares to other important tech hubs throughout the nation. This presentation will provide a deep dive into the methodology, findings and recommendations of the Glendale Tech Study. Event is free but space is limited, RSVP.
