Glendale, CA - The Glendale City Council and the Community Services & Parks Department (CSP) are happy to announce and invite you to the Grand Re-Opening Ceremony of Palmer Park, located at 610 E. Palmer Avenue. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., with a formal program beginning at 11:00 a.m.  The Palmer Park Site Improvements Project was funded by a combination of Community Development Block Grant funds, State Housing-Related Park funds, and Development Impact Fee funds.

CSP staff will host the game of S-K-A-T-E for youth in the new skating element, and the winner of the competition will be awarded a prize. Children will be able to enjoy the new wading pool and enjoy fun activities offered by the CSP Department’s Park & Play staff. The Glendale Rocks! Climbing Wall will also be available to offer a thrilling experience for all.
