FREE Lynda.com Workshops
Lynda.com for Libraries is a leading learning platform that helps anyone learn business, software, technology, education, and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. After completing this class, students will understand how to access Lynda.com for free using their Glendale Library Arts and Culture library card. Students will understand the audiovisual interface, and learn how to download courses to their own devices for viewing offline.
Prerequisite skills and materials: Students must have basic computer skills, possess a current Glendale Library Arts and Culture card, and an email address.
If students have not created a Lynda.com account, library staff will assist with this during class time.
Earbuds or headphones will be utilized, students may bring their own, purchase earbuds for $1, or use library headphones (limited supply available).
Practice time will be included so students can begin to select and explore personalized instruction guided by a librarian.
