Formed in fall 1992, the L.A. Bluescasters is a four-piece blues / rhythm & blues band from the San Gabriel Valley. The band’s music includes traditional blues and updated interpretations of the blues as well as rhythm and blues, and original compositions, along with music from their musical influences such as Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Allman Brothers.

Seating is limited and first come first served, no reserved seating. The Plaza seats 75 - 90 people for a performance; visitors are welcome to bring a chair or blanket and sit on the grassy hillsides in Brand Park. Performances run between 60 and 90 minutes without intermission.
The City of Glendale’s Performance Series began in 2014 to celebrate the renovation and reopening of the historic Brand Library & Art Center. The Brand Library & Art Center provides a free cultural asset to residents and attracts visitors to experience arts and cultural opportunities in the city. This Performance Series is designed to support arts organizations and to bring distinguished cultural programming to Glendale. The Performance Series is supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program and the Brand Associates.
