Allison Benis White is the author of Please Bury Me in This, winner of the 2018 Rilke Prize, and Small Porcelain Head, selected by Claudia Rankine for the Levis Prize in Poetry and named a finalist for the PEN Center USA Literary Award and the California Book Award. Her poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, New England Review, Ploughshares, 2017 Pushcart Prize XLI: Best of the Small Presses, and elsewhere. She has received honors and awards from the San          Francisco Foundation, the Academy of American Poets, and Poets & Writers      magazine. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Creative Writing at the University of California, Riverside.

Vandana Khanna was born in New Delhi, India and is the author of two full length collections: Train to Agra and Afternoon Masala, as well as the chapbook, The Goddess Monologues. Her poems have won the Crab Orchard Review First Book Prize, the Miller Williams Arkansas Poetry Prize, the Diode Editions Chapbook Competition, the Elinor Benedict Poetry Prize and have been nominated for five Pushcart Prizes. Her work has been published widely in journals and anthologies such as the New England Review, The Missouri Review, Raising Lilly Ledbetter: Women Poets Occupy the Workspace, Asian American Poetry: The Next Generation, and Indivisible: An Anthology of Contemporary South Asian American Poetry. She serves as the co-poetry editor of the Los Angeles Review.

Brand Library & Art Center is proud to present The River Lethe, a solo exhibition by Los Angeles artist Joshua Hagler. Drawing inspiration from the Greek mythological river of forgetting, Hagler responds to aspects of American history and culture that haunt us today. Investigative in nature, this body of work examines our cultural amnesia and psychological repression, uncovering deeper truths about who we are through the felt presence of memory.

In the Atrium Gallery, Elizabeth Dorbad presents her global series Itinerant Architectures, which has had iterations in Memphis, Baltimore, San Francisco, Oakland, Badger, Berlin, Kassel, New York and Los Angeles. The series engages the notion of architectural time while addressing identity, transience, decay and the quality of witness in buildings.
