GRAYSCALE Dance Company

GRAYSCALE was founded by artistic director Jessica Kondrath in 2005 in New York City and relocated to Los Angeles in 2009. Since its inception the company has presented work at venues and festivals such as Dance Chicago, Triskelion Arts, The Merce Cunningham Studios, Baryshnikov Arts Center, ARC Pasadena, HH11 Dance Festival, Detroit City Dance Festival, D.U.M.B.O. Dance Festival, and in spaces all along the California coast. Jessica is a choreographer and dance educator creating new dance works for high schools, colleges, and dance companies nationwide, is on faculty at El Camino College, and has been a recipient of the Professional Artists Fellowship Award from the Arts Council of Long Beach for her choreography. Most recently Jessica and the company have been involved in various collaborations with visual artists and musicians in creating works for site-specific spaces, the stage, and film. grayscaledance.org
