Workshop on the Glendale Register and Mills Act Property Tax Benefit on Wednesday, May 8, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., at the Brand Library & Art Center Recital Hall.

Discover the advantages of preserving your historic home or building, and learn how to add it to the prestigious Glendale Register of Historic Resources. Benefits of the Register include eligibility for substantial property tax reductions under the Mills Act, which are more valuable than ever due to recent changes in federal tax law. Each year, a limited number of "contributors" to historic districts are also eligible to participate in the City's Mills Act program. 

The workshop is co-sponsored by the City of Glendale's Historic Preservation Commission and the City of Glendale's Library, Arts & Culture Department. Presenters include Lorna Vartanian, Chair, and Chris Cragnotti, Vice Chair, of the Historic Preservation Commission.
