How to Submit a Planning Application

STEP 1: Applicant Research

The applicant should complete some preliminary research prior to contacting the Planning Division. They should research the following:

Building Permit
- Recent Permits and Applications
- Historical Building Permit Records
Find Property Zoning Information: Zoning is a classification assigned to a particular set of land uses. Once you find the zone of your property, you can find what uses are allowed and the development standards (i.e., height, setbacks, parking) for that zone in the City's Zoning Ordinance.
