Who: Everyone age 16 and older should get a booster dose

Who: Everyone who got J&J for their primary series should get a booster dose of any of the 3 vaccines |

When: 5 months after your second dose. |
When: At least 2 months after your J&J dose. |
(1) Booster doses. You may choose which vaccine you receive as a booster dose. It can be a Pfizer vaccine, a Moderna booster (half-dose) vaccine, or a J&J vaccine. Talk to your doctor if you have questions about the risks and benefits of a booster or about what vaccine to get as a booster.
(2) Moderna doses vary. The initial series and the additional dose are a full dose (0.5 mg). The booster is a half dose (0.25 mg).

HOW TO GET VACCINATED IN LA COUNTY
To be vaccinated at a site run by LA County Public Health:

Proof of age, and
Minors age 12-17 only - Consent form

Free COVID-19 vaccines are available for everyone age 12 and over. You do not need to have health insurance and you will not be asked about your immigration status. Vaccines are offered at hundreds of locations across LA County. These include clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, places of worship, and mobile clinics. Many sites are open late and on weekends and no appointment needed at many locations. Click here to find a location near you.
