The Glendale Police Department's provides outreach to Glendale's homeless population through its Homeless Outreach and Psychological Evaluation (HOPE) program. The program demonstrates remarkable success in its mission to transition homeless individuals into permanent housing.

Through grant funding and community partnerships, the Glendale Police Department provides essential services to Glendale's homeless community during all hours, including evenings and weekends. Glendale Police officers also has access to the Los Angeles County Homeless Management Information System, a database used by all homeless services providers to deliver the most appropriate resources to unhoused people.

Consider contacting the HOPE team if you begin to see the same homeless individual frequently in your area. Contact the HOPE team at (818) 548-4015.

The Homeless Liaison Officer will guide the individual to a variety of different resources, including but not limited to:

To report individuals who appear aggressive/intoxicated or engaged in criminal activity, call 911 for immediate police response. You will be asked to provide your location, a description of the individual,  a description of the what's happening, and your contact information.

Matters such as drinking, smoking, and littering can be handled through our non-emergency line, (818) 548-4911.
