 1. Do I need to download the app to pay for parking in Glendale?

 No, you will still be able to pay using credit card or coin. You can also pay using your browser at https://m2.paybyphone.com/parking. Glendale is offering this mobile payment solution as an additional payment method to make parking easier for people who live, work and play in Glendale.

2. Can the application be downloaded through both apple and android?

 Yes, the PayByPhone mobile application is available for free through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

3. Instead of using my credit card, can I use Apple or Samsung Pay?

 Yes, PaybyPhone accepts Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

 4. How secure is the PayByPhone system?

 Payment data is transmitted to the credit card processor. No other parties have access to your card information. International and national Payment Card Industry (PCI) credit card security protocols and requirements demand our vendors maintain the highest levels of data security, encryption, penetration testing, and server security.

 5. Do I have to store my debit/credit card in order to process a transaction?

 No, you don’t have to store your card information to process a transaction. There is an option to do so as a wallet feature for your convenience, but this is optional.

 6. Does the application track my location?

 Sharing your location is not required to use the app. Location data allows the app to use your current location to provide the closest parking zones available to you. If you choose not to share your location, you can enter the zone number manually.

 7. Does the City of Glendale have any access to my cellular device?

 No. The City of Glendale does not have access to your device.

8. Who has access to my parking data?

 Only authorized and approved staff from the City of Glendale, Glendale Police Department, and our parking enforcement vendor will have access. Staff use parking session data to enforce paid parking zones and effectively manage the parking system.

9. Where can I find my receipts or parking transaction history after using PayByPhone?

 In the app or at visit paybyphone.com/receipts. Available only with a registered account.
