Trails & Open Space Friday Night Lecture Series: "The Weird and Wonderful World of Bats"

Bat Talk Friday Night Feb 2018Trails & Open Space Friday Night Lecture Series:

"The Weird and Wonderful World of Bats"

One fourth of all the world’s mammals are bats. These animals have been portrayed as evil, scary, and dirty. Do they deserve this type of press?  Is this fake news?  What is the truth? Join Michelle Rivers, bat enthusiast and UK Bat Worker as she shares the facts about these fascinating creatures.  You will learn about the weird and wonderful things that make the bat so special and why we should all learn to love them.  This event is FREE!! But you must call us at (818) 548-3795 to RSVP. This program is recommended for ages 16 and older.  This program is made possible by a grant from Avery Dennison.
