About Public Works
The Public Work's Department is comprised of six divisions: Administration, Fleet Services, Integrated Waste Management, Maintenance Services, Facilities Management, and Engineering. All of which work to maintain the City's infrastructure including streets, sewers, storm catch basins, debris basins, signs, traffic signals and flashing beacons, playground facilities, sports field structures, parking lots and structures, and much more. Public Works also provides general building and custodial maintenance to the various buildings and sites owned by the City of Glendale.
