“Snake it Up” Lecture and Hike
SOLD OUT
Join us for a lecture and hike through the park as we hear about “herps” (snakes, lizards, frogs and more). Learn about our local amphibians and reptiles and their important role in the environment. Chris DeGroof and Peggy Wu from the Southwestern Herpetologists Society will be our hosts as they share their passion for these animals. The lecture starts at 9:00 a.m. We finish the morning on a moderately easy 1.5 mile hike with several stops to catch and identify some of our local herps.
This event is free!! But space is limited, so please call us at (818) 548-3795 to reserve your place.
