Mental Health Resource Fair - Help Is Here!
The Library, Arts & Culture Department is bringing together community organizations that provide services to individuals and families affected by mental illness. Visitors can connect with community resources that can provide the help they need. Information booths and a wellness center will provide tips about self-care.
The Mental Health Resource Fair marks the anniversary of Glendale’s mental health initiative and social worker program. We will celebrate our system’s commitment to supporting staff with mental health resources and training as well as reaffirming our dedication to making the Library a safer, healthier and more welcoming environment for our community. Our goals are to increase the community’s awareness of our social worker program and mental health resources, to connect patrons with mental health support, and to expand our network of partners. Stop by and learn about the local mental health support resources available to you and your family. Information booths and a wellness center will also provide tips about self-care.
This project was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
