The City of Glendale is proposing rate adjustments for its wastewater rates after conducting a Cost of Service Analysis (COSA) on the cost of service to provide wastewater disposal services to our customers. The COSA took into consideration the operating costs, capital needs, and regulatory requirements for the wastewater disposal service and calculated a rate structure recommendation for City Council to consider and vote on May 22, 2018.
Customers will be mailed a Prop. 218 notice the first week of April to notify them of the proposed wastewater rate adjustments. There will be two community meetings to discuss the proposed wastewater rate structure. Please join us at any one of these meetings to learn about the proposed rate structure and how it affects your wastewater bill.
