Measure A Community Meeting
The Los Angeles Regional Park and Open Space District, along with some community-based organizations, will be conducting 30 community meetings throughout Los Angeles County to update residents on Measure A funding. Measure A, which was passed in November 2016, brings funding for improvements and access opportunities to our parks, beaches, trails, and cultural facilities.
A meeting will be held locally at Maple Park Community Center on Friday, June 8, 2018. We invite you to join us, in order to hear updates on Measure A funding, park projects and grant opportunities. County and City representatives will also be there to hear public comments and suggestions, and to discuss park projects with Glendale constituents.
A light dinner, refreshments, childcare and free goodies for participants will be provided.
