Our guest speaker for the evening is local artist, Trudy Barnes. She is a visual artist working with textiles and printmaking.  She uses natural dyeing to explore connections to space. Join us to explore local color in our landscape by learning about native plants and their potential for dyeing.  We’ll discuss how to identify dye plants, forage responsibly, and extract color from the plant material as well as, basic fabric dyeing techniques.  Learn to see hidden color in our landscape!  This event is FREE!!! But seating is limited.  Please RSVP at (818) 548-3795.  This program is recommended for ages 14 and older.
