The Glendale Fire Department Fire Service Day is Saturday, May 11 at Fire Station 21. The five hours of fun starts at 9 a.m. at 421 Oak St. in Glendale. The free event is open to the public and features a pancake breakfast in the morning. The event also features live demonstration, antique fire engines, the Glendale Police Department SWAT vehicle, an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog, a climbing wall, the American Red Cross, and fun activities for kids.
