Friday Night Lecture, "Birds of Prey"
A bird of prey, predatory bird, or raptor is any of several species of bird that hunts and feeds on rodents and other animals. Join us as we learn about these birds from Southern California and the adaptations that have made them such accomplished hunters. We will take an in-depth look at hawks, eagles, owls, kestrels, and how to spot and appreciate their beauty in our own backyard! Our lecturer, Jane Gao is a Wildlife Biologist that specializes in ornithology and animal behavior studies. This event is FREE! Seating is limited. Please RSVP by calling 818-548-3795.
