Virtual Teen Night Out Presents:
"The Legal Rights of a Teenager!"
On Thursday, August, 20, 2020, the Community Services & Parks Department’s, Youth & Family Services Section will present “The Legal Rights of a Teenager!” with a virtual Teen Night Out (TNO) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The presentation will be moderated by Lucy Varpetian, Principal Assistant City Attorney, Office of the Glendale City Attorney, and presented by Rouman Ebrahim, Deputy Director Attorney, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office and Jessica Melikian, Deputy Alternate Public Defender, Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender’s office. Our guest speakers and moderator will highlight parts of the legal system that impacts teenagers directly, and go into detail about teenagers knowing their own rights. Once the presentation is over, teens will have time at the end of the session to ask the legal team questions.
