Youth & Family Services, Virtual Teen Night Out presents “How to Receive Financial Aid”
On Thursday, November 19, 2020, Youth & Family Services Section will present “How to Receive Financial Aid” with a virtual Teen Night Out (TNO) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The presentation will be conducted by GUSD School Counselors Jaqueline Tabor, Karineh Turdjian and CTE College and Career adviser Lilit Maksoudian. GUSD counselors and adviser will discuss what steps need to be taken to apply for financial aid. Financial aid is money to help pay for college or career school. Grants, work-study, loans, and scholarships help make college or career school affordable.
