Friday Night Lecture, "Big Felines of the Foothills"

Johanna Turner has been tracking mountain lions in the Verdugo, San Gabriel, and Santa Monica mountains for ten years.  This lecture will feature beautiful wildlife photography of our local mountain lions. Get to know the secretive big cats who share your foothills (some are famous enough to have nicknames!) and find out how motion-sensing ‘camera traps’ work. Learn how to identify a mountain lion track and more.  There will be a small selection of framed prints and greeting cards available for purchase. You must reserve your place.  This program is recommended for ages 14 and older.
