Save the monarch butterflies! Help plant native milkweed at Deukmejian Wilderness Park to provide habitat and food for monarch caterpillars and butterflies. The City of Glendale, Community Services & Parks, Trails and Open Space program is partnering with the Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy (AFC) as part of AFC's Monarch Recovery Project. We'll provide tools, gloves, drinks and snacks. Participants are asked to wear sturdy shoes, protective clothing, and bring a hat. Families, individuals, clubs, and students needing community service hours are welcome.
