Sustainability Commission
The Sustainability Commissioner role will be to make advisory recommendations to the City Council on how to promote progress toward sustainability in the Greener Glendale Plan, Climate Action Plans, on issues relating to the environment and recommend priorities to promote regional leadership in sustainability. The Commission shall work in conjunction with City departments regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of sustainability programs.

Parks, Recreation & Community Services Commission
The Parks, Recreation & Community Services Commissioners are responsible for the overall program of parks, playgrounds and recreational activities. The Commission performs its duties as an advisory body to the City Council and Community Services & Parks Department, recommending courses of action that insure continuation of Glendale's high caliber parks and recreational programs.
