Location: Verdugo Park, 1621 Canada Blvd, Glendale, CA 91208

Time: 11 AM - 3 PM

The Fair will take place at the south end of the park, where picnic tables are available for attendees to enjoy.

♻️ Waste Reduction: 

Help us limit waste by bringing your own reusable cups, water bottles, utensils, and containers. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

👗 Clothing Swap:

Bring up to ten gently used and clean clothes to participate in the clothing swap. 

items can be dropped off at Glendale City Hall on April 19th (Suite 200) from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM or during the swap from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

How the Clothing Swap Works!

  • Find up to 10 clean and gently used (no holes or tears) clothing items, like shirts, bottoms, dresses, jackets, and bags.
  • When you bring your clothes, you’ll receive a Clothing Swap ticket which gives you priority access to the Clothing Swap.
  • Arrive between 11 AM - 12 PM, show your ticket, and shop! Please don’t take more items than you brought.
  • After 12:00 PM, the Clothing Swap opens to the general public. 
  • Once you finish swapping, check out the rest of the fair including the free-free market! 

**The City of Glendale is not liable nor responsible for items being clean and in good condition.

🌟 Volunteer Opportunity

You can enjoy the fair and volunteer during the event!

We are looking for people to help us with the Clothing Swap & Free-Free Market as well as the Office of Sustainability table. Tasks will include sort clothing, weigh clothing for data tracking, take photos, help with event clean-up/set-up and more.

🌻Free-Free Market:
Discover hidden treasures at our free market. Bring up to 5 items ranging from household goods to plants. Please ensure items are in good condition.

Anyone can bring in items, and take items. There is no ticketing system, however, staff will ensure that no more than 5 items are brought in. 

📍Getting to Verdugo Park

1621 Canada Blvd, Glendale, CA 91208 

By Bus: 

  • Metro Bus Route 90 stops at Verdugo Park at the Verdugo Park/Canada stop. 
  • Beeline Bus routes 3, 7, 8, 31 stop at Verdugo at Town (Glendale College)  and Verdugo at Civic Auditorium (Glendale College). 

By Bike: 

  • Bike parking is available at the south end of the park near the picnic benches, skate park, bathrooms, and playground.  

By Metro Micro: 

Dial-A-Ride: 

  • If you are resident who is 65 years or older or a disabled resident who is registered with Dial-A-Ride, you can registered to be dropped off at the community center. For more information, visit GlendaleTransit.com

By Car:  

  • Metered parking is available in Verdugo at the south end of the park, along with metered street parking. 
  • Metered parking is available at Lot 34 which is across the street from Verdugo Park, and Lot 32 which is just south of Verdugo Park and connects to the park with a bridge over the Verdugo Wash.  
  • Street parking can be found in the neighborhood around Verdugo Park.  

🎟️ Giveaways and Opportunity Draw Tickets: 
Bring your own reusable items or use eco-friendly transportation to earn opportunity draw tickets.

  • Eco-friendly transportation includes Bus, Bike, Metro Micro, Dial-A-Ride, or walking. Take photo or video proof of you taking public transportation.
  • Bring reusable items such as water bottle, cups, Tupperware, or utensils to receive opportunity draw tickets.
