Join us for a Summer Community Clothing Swap with Suay LA! 🌞
Bring up to 10 clean and gently used clothing items to exchange. No shoes, socks, jewelry, and accessories. Children's clothing is okay.
Items can be dropped off at Pacific Park Library on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10:00AM - 6:00PM.
While you're swapping, you can check out the Free Book Shop, we'll have Club Mend to help repair items, and a Community Dye Bath option to upcycle finds. The first 50 residents can get a discounted dye bath submission!
We'll have tea, coffee, and cookies available. Make sure to bring your reusable cup! ☕
✨How the Clothing Swap Works!
Find up to 10 clean and gently used (no holes or tears) clothing items, like shirts, bottoms, dresses, jackets, and bags.
Jewelry, shoes, underwear, socks or any other accessories are not accepted.
You can drop your items off on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10:00AM - 6:00PM at Pacific Park Library or bring them at the beginning of the clothing swap. We will stop accepting clothing contributions after 12:00PM at the event.
You’ll receive a Clothing Swap ticket which gives you priority access to the Clothing Swap.
Arrive between 11:00AM-1:00PM, show your ticket, and shop! Please don’t take more items than you brought.
After 12:00 PM, the Clothing Swap opens to the general public, and anyone can take as many items as they like.
Once you finish swapping, check out the Free Book Shop, have a coffee or tea, head over to the Club Mend tables to repair items, check out the Community Dye Bath to see about upcycling items, or even browse through Suay's store.
🌟 Volunteer Opportunity
You can also swap and volunteer during the event!
We are looking for people to help us sort clothing, check in people, weigh clothing for data tracking, take photos, and help with event clean-up/set-up.
