The Glendale Police Department is hosting a free paper shredding event Saturday, August 10 at the Glendale Elks Lodge, 120 E. Colorado St. The event starts at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. or when the truck carrying the shredded paper is full. The event is perfect for anyone who needs to shred confidential documents safely and securely. This event only accepts confidential documents. Magazines, junk mail, binder clips and electronics will not be accepted. Participants are also invited to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to local food pantries.
