Male Arrested for Robbery

On April 25, 2022 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Glendale PD patrol officers responded to the intersection of Colorado St. and Columbus Ave. regarding a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect approached the victim, took the victim’s cell phone and attempted to flee on a skateboard. The victim attempted to get the cell phone back, and the suspect punched and then pushed the victim into traffic lanes and threw the phone. Officers detained a male on the 400 block of W. Colorado St. who had matched the suspect description given, and the male, later identified as 24-year-old Raejon Johnson of Moreno Valley, was arrested and booked for robbery.
