MissionSenior Services Committee is an advisory group to the Community Services & Parks Department, whose mission is to serve as a resource for assessing the needs of the senior community, planning and partnering with community organizations to address those needs and promoting the social, economic, safety and health related services within the community which impact the safety, independence and well-being of seniors. |
DutiesThe Senior Services Committee will assess the ongoing needs of the senior community and work with City staff and community organizations to address those needs. |

QualificationsThe candidate should work in the field of social work, gerontology, case management, and or public health or safety. Of the 13 members, 5 of the members come from social service organizations in Glendale, 4 are City staff, 3 are hospital representatives and 1 is a senior advocate. |
