Opening Reception for the 44th Brand
Annual National Juried Exhibition

Celebrate the opening of the 44th Brand Annual National Juried Exhibition, sponsored by Brand Associates. This year’s juror, Laddie John Dill selected 102 works of art out of 842 submissions from across the country.
Cash awards sponsored by the Brand Associates total over $4,000, including one Purchase Award to be added to the Jane Friend Purchase Award permanent collection. All accepted artworks will be included in a printed exhibition catalog.
Juror, Laddie John Dill is an internationally known contemporary artist who works with a wide variety of materials, including neon and argon tubing, natural earth materials, concrete, and wax. Mr. Dill is the recipient of two National Endowment of the Arts Grants: one for painting and one for sculpture. He was also granted a Guggenheim Fellowship. Mr. Dill has taught extensively at UCLA, UC Irvine, Art Center College of Design, and Otis College of Art and Design and has lectured throughout the United States.
