Become one of Glendale’s certified Green Businesses! The City of Glendale provides free assistance to help businesses “go green” and become more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. The certification criteria is based upon property size and business type.

How to Become a Certified Green Business

STEP 1: SIGN UP HERE

STEP 2: ASSESSMENT

• If the program is a good fit for all parties, an in-person assessment will be scheduled and performed at the business.
• After the assessment, a report of customized measures to fulfill the certification is provided.
• The City of Glendale team provides free consulting, training, and assistance every step of the way.

STEP 3: CERTIFICATION

• Once a business fulfills the Green Business certification criteria, they will receive:
  • A physical and digital copy of an official certificate
  • Certification digital graphics for websites and promotional materials
  • Window decals
  • Participation in numerous B2B opportunities
• Businesses who achieve the Tier 2 Certification are listed in the California Green Business Network directory.
