Owners or Managers of Single Family and Multi-Family Properties with 2-4 units
Owners play a large role in supporting the City’s goal of Zero Waste. In Glendale, all properties are required to have trash, recycling and organics collection services, and management is responsible for informing tenants and employees of proper sorting procedures.
Service Requirements
Property managers must provide tenants with access to trash, recycling and organics collection services and are responsible for ensuring that tenants are familiar with all aspects of this program, including managing bulky items.
Please place automated containers out in the following manner:
- Front of containers face the street
- Wheels against the curb
- Containers should be a minimum of three (3) feet from any obstructions
- Containers should be placed side-by-side and one (1) foot apart
- All containers must be out by 7am on collection day and removed by 8pm
- Containers should only be set out for service if at least half (1/2) full
- Do not overfill containers
- Lids should be fully closed when container is full
