Description:

Central Park Paseo/Parking Lot No. 10 Improvements:

• Installation of brick and concrete paving pattern walkways, composite wood decking, seating, decorative lighting and neon signs;
• Installation of 3 "Pink Trumpet" trees within the paseo and Tiny Tower Italian Cypress trees within the concrete planter;
• Installation of pedestrian corridor and "palm court";
• Installation of four (4) parking pay stations;
• Installation of landscaping improvements;
• Installation of 46 parking stalls (2 ADA accessible);
• Installation of four (4) speed humps;
• Removal of existing power poles;
• Installation of underground electrical conduits and vaults;
• Installation of new storm drain; and
• Relocation of sewer main line.

Colorado Street Lane Addition:

• Widening of street by 9.5 feet on the north side between Alley No. 58 and Brand Blvd.
• Surface Grinding/Removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement and overlay with Asphalt Rubberized Hot Mix pavement (ARHM) over Asphalt Concrete Pavement (Base Course) over crushed aggregate base;
• Reconstruction of concrete curb and gutters, driveway approaches and aprons, alley aprons, sidewalks and curb ramps;
• Relocation of water meters, fire hydrant, street lights, street light pull boxes, twin globe decorative poles, electrical conduits, pull boxes, street signs, bus shelters, curb and area drains;
• Relocation of catch basins;
• Removal of existing street trees and plant three new 24-inch box trees;
• Relocation of two (2) palm trees on Colorado Street;
• Replacement of existing traffic striping and other traffic markings; and modify traffic signals.

Anticipated Construction Schedule April 2014 to November 2014, barring adverse weather conditions.
