Subject: This meeting was well attended by over 50 residents who learned about the project's scope of work from Engineering Division and Maintenance Services Urban Forestry staff. In July, an invitation was distributed to all potentially impacted residents informing them that the project was in the planning stages. Residents provided feedback as to the potential construction of sidewalks and removal of mature trees. They also expressed their concern about potential traffic issues. A survey was also sent to all attendees seeking their input on the sidewalk installation portion of the project. Attendees were informed that survey results would be posted on the City's CIP page in September 2013. The project is anticipated to commence construction in mid 2014.
