Scope of Work

• Selective removal and replacement of Portland cement concrete pavement;
• Selective removal/reconstruction/surface plane of deteriorated pavement and placement of asphalt concrete pavement;
• Asphalt concrete skin patching of deteriorated asphalt concrete pavement;
• Application of crack sealing material;
• Selective removal and repair of broken and damaged sidewalk; curb; curb and gutter; cross gutter, and alley apron;
• Construction of new curb ramps;
• Pruning of tree roots; and,
• Removal and replacement of existing traffic striping and pavement marking.

Construction Updates

• UPDATE 5/31/2017: On Monday, June 5, 2017, work will be taking place on Elk Ave. between Adams St. and Chevy Chase Dr. and the road will be closed from 7am-4pm. Grover Ave. between Glenoaks Blvd. and San Fernando Rd. will also be closed on this day for the same hours. Expect delays if driving in these areas and use alternate routes where possible.

• CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 6/9/2017: Slurry seal work between Wednesday, June 14, 2017 and Friday, June 16, 2017 will leave the following roads CLOSED from 7am to 4pm. If driving in the area expect delays and plan trips accordingly. Work should be completed in these days barring unforeseen delays.
