The Engineering Building and Park Department routinely inspects playground equipment located in City parks and maintains a database tracking the history and condition of each play structure.  This database keeps a record of the installation date, annual inspections, completed repairs, and the use life expiration date for each location. Currently, the structures at Palmer Park and Pacific Park have both exceeded their use and we are working towards making them safe for our community to use.

Scope of Work

• Demolish and remove existing play structures 
• Remove and dispose all old wood fiber fall surfacing
• Make site improvements
• Install new play structures
• Install new poured in place rubberized fall surfacing
