Scope of Work

The work generally includes:

• Installation and modification of 6 traffic signals;
• Fiber optic communication installation;
• Surface grinding and placement of ARHM and Asphalt Concrete Pavement (Leveling Course);
• Construction of Portland Cement Concrete ADA curb ramps, and
• Installation of striping and other pavement markings

Construction Schedule

Construction began in October 2018 and is expected to finish by September 2019.

Project Location

New traffic signals will be installed at the following intersections:

1. Pacific Avenue at Glenwood Road
2. Chevy Chase Drive at Windsor Road

Existing traffic signals will be updated by the latest Caltrans standards at the following intersections:

1. La Crescenta Avenue at Montrose Avenue
2. La Crescenta Avenue at Honolulu Avenue
3. Central Avenue at Chevy Chase Drive
4. Broadway/Brazil Street at San Fernando Road
