Congratulations, the Broadway Rehabilitation Project was awarded the 2023 Outstanding Roadway & Highway Project by the American Association of Civil Engineers Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch (ASCE MLAB).

Scope of Work
- Selective removal, reconstruction, and surface grinding of deteriorated pavement and placement of asphalt concrete pavement
- Placement of asphalt rubber hot mix pavement (ARHM)
- Selective removal and repair of broken and damaged sidewalks; curb and gutters; cross gutters, and alley and driveway aprons
- Removal of substandard curb ramps and construction of new curb ramps that are complaint with the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Planting of new trees and pruning of tree roots
- Modification of traffic signals
- Installation of vehicle detection cameras
- Installation of striping and other pavement markings
- Reflective pavement installation on S. Kenilworth Avenue
- Installation of Dry Wells
- All other appurtenant work

- The project is currently in the construction phase.
