Scope of Work/Project Overview
The Citywide Traffic and Mobility Study will:

• Provide recommendations to maintain traffic flow and circulation while enhancing active modes of travel – such as walking, biking and taking transit 

• Evaluate existing and near-term future traffic conditions

• Evaluate lane reconfiguration alternatives identified in the Citywide Pedestrian Plan and Bicycle Transportation Plan

 • Use the Study’s analysis, along with community feedback, to guide Glendale policy and projects for years to come

Project Status

• Comprehensive citywide traffic counts at intersections with traffic signals, all-way stop controlled intersections, and major arterial street segments have been conducted

• Traffic Flow model is in development

• Community Outreach plan has been initiated

• Emergency vehicle response map is in development
