Project Location 

The project is located on Colorado Street between South Central Avenue and Easterly limit of the City of Glendale at Lincoln Avenue as shown in the Project Location Map.

 Scope of Work

  • Street pavement rehabilitation
  • Selective reconstruction of concrete curb and gutters, cross gutters, driveway and alley aprons, and sidewalks
  • Construction of new curb ramps meeting ADA requirements and reconstruction of existing ADA ramps
  • Planting of new trees to provide continuous shading
  • Upgrade crosswalks at the intersections of Colorado Street at Porter Street, Lincoln Avenue, Fisher Street and Lafayette Street to median refuge island
  • Add Curb Extensions on Colorado Street at Brand Boulevard, Louise Street, Kenwood Avenue, and other applicable intersections

  • Installation of creative crosswalks, new striping, and other pavement markings
  •  

  • Installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons at the intersections of South Cedar Street and East Colorado Street, Fischer Street and East Colorado Street, Lafayette Street and East Colorado Street

Phase

The Project is currently in the design phase.

Construction Schedule

Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in spring 2026, barring any unforeseen conditions.
