Project Description: Re-pavement of alleys in western and southern Glendale neighborhoods, replacing the current pavement surface with permeable pavement.
Scope of Work
The scope of work includes the removal of existing deteriorated asphalt concrete pavement and replacement with a permeable concrete gutter and new asphalt concrete pavement. This will provide a new service life for the alley segment and incorporate stormwater infiltration improvements to capture and treat stormwater runoff and replenish the underground aquifers.

The Project was presented to the City Council on September 19, 2023.

- Alley No. 9 from Lomita Avenue to the southerly terminus

Construction Updates
The construction of the following alleys are complete:
- Alley No. 37 between Rosedale Avenue and Newby Street
- Alley No. 39 between Sonora Avenue and Grover Avenue
- Alley No. 295 between Cleveland Road to Norton Avenue
February 2024 - Contractor will start working on Alley 25, 57. 64 and 257
Construction Schedule
Anticipated start date: January 2024
Anticipated end date: June 2024
