Dear Newsrack Distributor:

We would like to thank you for your continued business with the City of Glendale. As you are already aware, the City of Glendale Neighborhood Services staff conducts periodic inspections of all of the newsracks displayed on the public rights of way throughout the city. In the event any violations of the Glendale Municipal Code pertaining to newsrack registration or maintenance are found, staff has notified you, in the past by postal mail. Due to the ten day period allowed for correction and a lag time in postal delivery, many distributors have requested that these notifications be forwarded electronically (by e-mail), to expedite the delivery time, thereby increasing the time to make necessary corrections.

In an effort to better serve you, the City of Glendale is now able to send these violation notices by e-mail. This means of delivery will now be the standard procedure for notifications of both violation notices and annual registration.
